4. clean the cabinet using a rag moistened with a solution of water and bicarbonate or other neutral detergents; dry with
a soft cloth.
IMPORTANT:
• the appliance must be connected to the mains power supply through an omnipolarswitch with a contact separation of at
least 3 mm (required for appliances supplied without plug and which are to be connected to a permanent installation).
• if the feeding cable is damaged, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer or by its service technician or by any qualified
person, in order to prevent any risk to occur.
• the ideal position for the cabinet is in a cool and well-aired part of the room;

Connecting the cabinet to the mains power supply

This operation must be carried out with all due care and by a qualified technician.
The cabinet is supplied complete with a power supply cable for its connection to the mains power supply.
A thermomagnetic circuit-breaker (which is not provided by the cabinet manufacturer) must be installed between the mains
power point and the cabinet's power supply cable. The mains voltage corresponds to the voltage on the cabinet's nameplate
(230 Volt/50 Hz); to ensure
Before proceeding, make sure that:
• proper operation it is essential for the power supply voltage to come within a range of 6% of the cabinet's rated voltage;
• the electric system to which the cabinet is connected is sized to cater for the rated electric output of the cabinet being
installed;
• the electric system to which the cabinet is connected is made in compliance with current standard requirements;
• the electric connections and the installation of the thermomagnetic circuit-breaker have been done by qualified techni-
cians.
Proceed as follows:
• install a thermomagnetic circuit-breaker suited to the rated output of the cabinet being installed;
• connect the cabinet's power supply cable to the thermomagnetic circuit-breaker's outlet;
