Symptom
The focus does not work.
The picture is too dark.
The picture is too bright.
The colors of the picture
taken indoors are not correct.
A part of the picture is
missing.
Possible causes
• The camera was moved
when you pressed the
release button.
• The lens is dirty.
• The flash was blocked by a
finger or other obstacle.
• The subject was too far
away.
• The subject was backlit.
• The subject was too bright.
• This is due to fluorescent
lighting.
• A finger was blocking the
lens.
Action
• Hold the camera correctly,
then press the release
button slowly.
• Clean the lens.
• Hold the camera correctly,
and make sure nothing
blocks the flash.
• Take the picture within
range of the flash.
• Use the flash.
• Adjust the iris.
• Set the WB switch correctly.
• Hold the camera correctly,
and make sure a finger
does not block the lens.
