Bluetooth connection
1. Set [ MAIN POWER, OFF/ON ] to ON. The speaker will say: "Power On, Pairing"
(switched on and detectable for other Bluetooth devices).
2. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired with the speaker.
3. The keyboard will now appear on your device as "BT520", select it. Refer to
the instruction manual of your device for further clarification if you are unsure.
4. The speaker will say: "You are now paired, enjoy".
5. The audio from the speaker can be controlled using the buttons described in
Buttons and functions above, or via the device connected to the speaker. Refer to
the instruction manual of your device for further clarification if you are unsure.
6. If no connection has been established after 10 minutes, the speaker will switch off
automatically.
7. Switch the speaker off by setting [ MAIN POWER, OFF/ON ] to OFF or put it in
standby mode by holding [
• Note: If you are prompted to enter a PIN code on your device, you should
enter 0000 (four zeroes). Certain devices may also require you to approve
the connection.
• The speaker will re-connect automatically with the device with which it was last
paired when it has been switched back on again and the Bluetooth function is
activated.
• If the speaker is paired to your mobile phone and you receive or make a call,
the speaker playback will automatically be paused. When the call has ended,
the speaker playback automatically resumes.
• If you wish to switch the current Bluetooth connection off and pair with another
device, press [
LED lights
The LED lights can be set to three modes:
• OFF: the LEDs are always off.
• Manual: the lights are controlled by the [ ] button on the front of the speaker.
Press the button repeatedly to select various fixed or shifting light effects.
• Grille: the colour of the LEDs depends
on which grille is fitted to the front of
the speaker. Make sure that the notches
in the grille line up with the tabs on
the speaker.
