OFF The flicker compensation is switched off.
ON When the picture flickers on the monitor,
switch on the flicker compensation.
4) BACK EXIT CANCEL DEFAULT
From the lower line it is possible to go back to the
main menu 1 (BACK), to exit the menu (EXIT), to
reset* all adjustments to the previous adjustments
(CANCEL), or to call the factory adjustments*
(DEFAULT). Select the desired menu item with the
button ,
ton Enter.
*This also applies to the adjustments in the main menu 1 and
in all submenus, however, not for the adjustments in the
menu PROTOCOL (fig. 6).
7.3 Menu for the RS-485 interface (fig. 6)
For making the menu adjustments of the camera e. g.
from a control panel via the RS-485 interface, make
the required adjustments in the menu PROTOCOL.
1) Keep the button
2 seconds by means of a thin object until the menu
fig. 6 appears on the monitor. The menu item EXIT
is selected (flashes) in the lower line.
2) In case of remote control of several units in the sur-
veillance system, an individual three-digit identifi-
cation number must be assigned to each unit. A
number from 001 to 199 can be selected for the
camera. The number 001 is factory-set.
a) For changing, select the line ADDRESS
with the button
Enter (4). The first zero flashes.
b) Select the number for the hundreds digit
with the button Enter.
c) Go to the tens digit and units digit with the
button
d) Then go to the next menu line with the but-
ton
3) The camera can be controlled according to the
PELCO-P or PELCO-D protocol. With the button
Enter select in the line PROTOCOL the protocol
for the operation of the control panel.
4) Go to the menu line BAUD RATE with the button
and select the transmission rate with the button
