MUTE OFF/ON
Select MUTE ON to cut down the speakers output, return to MUTE OFF to resume the speakers output.
LOCAL RADIO STATION SEARCH
Press the SEL button (2) repeatedly to choose LOCAL/DX. Rotate the volume knob (2) to switch
between LOCAL and DX.
Select LOCAL to receive radio stations with strong signal.
In areas with weak signal, it is recommended to switch to DX. All radio stations, local as well as
remote can be received.
LOUDNESS
Press the SEL button (2) repeatedly until LOUD ON is displayed. Rotate the volume knob on the
front panel to select Ioudness ON or OFF.
STEREO/MONO
Press the SEL button (2) repeatedly until the display shows STEREO/MONO. Rotate the volume
knob to switch between STEREO reception and MONO reception. Improvement of reception of
distant stations can be done by selecting mono mode, which may cut down some reception noise.
AREA SETUP
In radio mode, press and hold the SEL button (2) for several seconds. LCD will show BEEP ON/
OFF. Rotate the volume knob (2) to set the function on/off. Press the SEL button again. Use the
volume knob to select the USA or EUROPE frequency.
SELECT MODE
By pressing the MOD button (3) you can switch between different function modes:
- Tuner (radio)
- USB - to go to this mode USB device must be connected.
- Memory card - to go to this mode must have a memory card in.
- AUX input.
DISPLAY
Press the DISP button (4) to operate as the conversion of each display mode as follow:
- Time is displayed for 5 seconds when the DISP button is pressed, and it returns to its previous
display unless the DISP button is pressed again.
- From the clock mode, when the DISP button is pressed for longer than 1 sec, clock mode switches
to clock adjusting mode and the clock display begins flashing. At this time clock can be changed
by turning the volume knob (2). Press the SEL button to switch between hour and minute settings.
DSP OFF
Press the SEL button repeatedly until DSP OFF is displayed.
Rotate the volume knob to select desired Equalizer setting.
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY
Exhibit current frequency and activated functions on the display (5).
RESET
Reset button (6) is placed on the housing and must be activated with either a ball point pen or thin
metal object (do not use sharp object to avoid damaging the unit). The reset button (6) is to be
activated for the following reasons:
- All the function buttons do not operate.
- Error symbol on the display.
