Before you use the unit

After unpacking the product and before each use, check wheth-
er the product exhibits any sign of damage.
If this is the case, do not use the product, but instead please
inform your vendor.
The operating instructions are based on the standards and rules
in force in the European Union. If you are abroad, please also
observe the country-specific guidelines and laws!
Before using the product, first carefully read through
the safety notes and operating instructions. Only this
way, can all functions be used in a safe and reliabl e
manner.
Keep the operating instructions safe and pass them on to any-
one who may own the unit after you.

Proper use

This gas grill is designed for heating, cooking and barbecuing
meals.
It is only suitable for outdoor use and is only intended for private
application.
Only use the product as described in this operating instructions.
Any other use is deemed improper and may result in damage to
property or even injury to persons.
The manufacturer assumes no liabilities for damages, which are
incurred due to improper use.

Points to observe when handling the unit.

Safety notes

Danger of Explosion!
Leaking gas may form a highly explosive air/gas mix-
ture that could cause a fire or explosion and could
result in life-threatening injuries or death.
– In general, you should have a fire extinguisher and first aid kit
on hand and be prepared for an accident or fire.
– Do not use the grill if there is a gas leak.
– Do not in any case use an open flame to check for a gas leak.
Make sure that no sparks or open flames can occur when
checking for a gas leak.
– Do not loosen any gas connections, the gas hose or the pres-
sure regulator when the gas grill is being used.
– Only use a hose connection between the device and the gas
container, which does not exceed the recommended length
of 1.5 m.
– In the event of a leak, turn off the grill, extinguish all open
flames and open the lid. If the leak is persisting, check the
device for damages, loose connections etc. Ask your local
gas dealer if you are unable to solve the problem.
– Always check to make sure that the gas line has no leaks af-
ter connecting it. Use soap water for this (see section "Check-
ing for gas leaks").
– Make sure that the gas hose has been firmly mounted and
that the hose connection is always accessible along its entire
length.
– Do not use any denatured alcohol, petrol or similar liquids to
light or relight the grill.
– Do not store or use any petrol, denatured alcohol or other
flammable gases or liquids in the grill's vicinity if it is in use.
– Never leave the gas container connected with the pressure
regulator when it is disconnected from the gas hose.
– Making any changes to the product poses a considerable risk
to safety and is prohibited. Do not tamper with the grill regula-
