Installation procedure

1. Confirm the strength of the installation location.
1. The weight of the wall-hanging bracket is
approximately 18 kg (39.7 lbs.). For the weight of
the plasma display attached to the wall-hanging
bracket, please see manual for the plasma display.
2. Refer to the outline drawing of the wall-hanging
bracket on the right, check the strength of the wall
in the eight locations at the position where the
wall-hanging bracket will be installed, and provide
reinforcement if the wall is not strong enough.
Caution
Mounting holes are provided in 16 places at the
top and bottom of the wall-hanging bracket. If
the wall is made of a material such as wood and
if it is not possible to ensure that the wall will
be strong enough to support the installation by
securing the bracket using the eight locations
shown on the right, use the spare holes as well.
Bear in mind, however, that using the spare holes
as well may cause the wall to crack.
※Refer to page 101 and 102 for the detailed dimensions
that apply when installing the plasma display.
2. Prepare the plasma display.
Caution
Because the display is heavy, handle it carefully by the
use of lifting equipment (machine).

Preparing for Installation
1. Place the hook of lifting equipment in the display's center eyebolt,
lift up the display, and put it on soft stuff such as a blanket.
(The display should be kept in an upright position.)
2. Remove the two caps (at the top) from the rear panel of
the plasma display.
3. Attach the stand hooks at the places where the caps
were removed.
4. Attach the caps at the places where the stand hooks
were removed.
• The bolt should be securely tightened to the torque given below.
(16~20 N•m)
Caution
Make sure that the stand hooks are firmly secured.
