• Warning - risk of electric shock! Unplug the product and let it cool down completely before
cleaning. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation.
Never hold the product under running water.
• Warning - Property damage! When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard
brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic
parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).
• Remove the blade insert carefully. Warning! The blade is very sharp.
• Clean the blade insert, the splash guard and the collecting container under hot, flowing water with
a sponge and mild washing-up liquid. Dry all the parts well before using them again.
• Clean the product's exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly.
• Make sure that no water enters the product interior (for example, through the switch).
• Keep the product in a dry, cool location which is protected against moisture and direct sunlight.
Keep this product out of the reach of children.

Disposal of old electric devices
The European directive 2012/19/EU for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
states that used household devices should not be disposed of with unsorted community waste.
These used devices must be collected separately from household waste in order to increase
the percentage of recovered devices and to recycle their parts, with the goal of reducing the
negative effects on human health and on the environment. The symbol of the crossed out garbage can
will be stamped onto all devices as a reminder of the obligation to put them in a separate garbage
collection. The consumer must consult local authorities or the vendor to inform themselves about the
manner in which their device should be disposed of.
Dispose of the packaging materials in an appropriate way. contact your local authorities about
collection points or waste separation.
