Instructions on microwave oven grounding
The unit should be securely grounded. In
case of any failure grounding reduces risk of
electric shock, because current will pass via
a ground wire. A power cord with a grounding
wire and the plug with a grounding contact
are used in the unit.
The plug should be connected to the socket
with a grounding contact.
WARNING: Usage of the plug with a ground-
ing contact connected with the socket with-
out grounding can lead to the risk of electric
shock.
Consult a qualified electrician, if grounding
instructions are not completely clear for you
or if you are not sure that the unit is securely
grounded.
If it is necessary to use the extension cord, use
only a 3-wire extension cord with a grounding
contact on the plug and the socket.
Wire section marking of the MWO cord and of
the extension cord should match.
The extension cord should not hang over the
edges of the table, where children can pull
it. The power cable of the extension cord
should be placed in such way that excludes
possibility of stepping on it.
Rules for cooking products in microwave
ovens
WARNING: Open hermetic or vacuum package
of food before cooking or warming in the micro-
wave oven. Otherwise pressure inside package
can burst it.
Shell eggs and whole hard-boiled eggs
should not be heated in microwave ovens
since they may explode due to increase of
pressure inside the egg-shell.
Pierce foods with heavy skins (such as pota-
toes, whole squashes or apples) in several
places before cooking.
Feeding bottles and baby food jars should
be placed in the microwave oven without lids
or teats. The contents should be stirred or
shaken periodically. The contents tempera-
ture should be checked before serving in
order to avoid scalding.
When cooking bacon, do not put it on the
glass rotary bottom plate, local overheating
of the bottom plate can lead to the appear-
ance of cracks in it.
Use only microwave-safe cookware; put it on
the glass tray.
For even heating of products, put thicker
slices near the edges of the cookware.
Follow cooking time. Set the shortest pos-
sible cooking time, it can be increased if
necessary.
Do not exceed cooking time it can lead to
burning of the products.
Cook foods under a microwave-safe cover.
The cover will prevent juice or fat from splat-
tering and will help other products be cooked
evenly.
To speed up the cooking process turn over
frozen products such as hamburgers peri-
odically.
Large pieces of meat must be turned over at
least twice during cooking.
Stir foods during cooking both from top to
bottom and from the center of the dish to
the outside.
