DESIGN AND APPLICATION
The plaster sander is a hand tool powered by a single-phase
commutator motor. The sander is designed for dry finishing sanding
of walls and other surfaces coated with skimmed plaster. The
moveable cover of the sander working disc fits tightly to any wall
surface. The sander is equipped with the system used for connecting
the tool to an external dust extraction system (e.g. dust bag, vacuum
cleaner), which must be connected during operation. The range of
applications of the sander include renovation and building works, as
well as all types of DIY and around the house works.
The sander should be used with a connected dust extraction
system, such as a dust bag or a workshop vacuum cleaner adapted
for plaster dust extraction.

PREPARATION FOR WORK
ATTACHING THE ADDITIONAL HANDLE
It is recommended to use the additional handle for the sander. The
additional handle (8) is installed in one of the holes in the sander
housing (fig. A). If the sander is held with both hands during
operation (also using the additional handle), the risk of losing
control of the tool is much lower.
FASTENING THE SANDING PAPER
The sander has a working disc with the so called Velcro, which allows
for an easy and quick replacement of the sanding paper.
• Move the sanding paper to the working disc (10) so that its holes
„a" coincide with the holes of the working disc and press it to
ensure efficient dust extraction (fig. B).
• In order to remove the sanding paper, just peel it from one side,
and then pull it all the way (fig. C).
Use perforated sanding paper, so that dust can escape through
the holes in the working disc to a dust extraction system. Each
time the sanding paper is replaced, clean the working disc
removing all dust and dirt using a brush.
DUST EXTRACTION
•
Insert the suction hose end onto the duct extraction connector
(4) (fig. D).
• Connect the other end of the suction hose to a dust extraction
system, such as a dust bag or workshop vacuum cleaner.
• Set proper suction force by turning the suction adjustment dial (7)
counter-clockwise or clockwise (fig. E).
FITTING AND ADJUSTING THE ARM BELT
Switch off the sander motor, when fitting or adjusting the arm
belt.
The proper adjustment of the arm belt can facilitate operation to
a great extent. The arm belt is especially useful when working at a
height.
• Put the snap-hooks in the hooks of the arm belt (1).
• Adjust the length using the arm belt buckle (fig. F).
OPERATION / ADJUSTMENTS
The mains voltage must correspond to the value specified on the
sander nameplate.
Switching on - press the switch button (6).
Switching off - release the pressure on the switch button (6).
The switch lock (continuous operation)
Switching on:
• Press the switch button (6) and hold it in this position.
• Press the switch lock button (5) (fig. G).
• Release the pressure on the switch button (6).
Switching off:
• Press and release the pressure on the switch button (6).
SPEED ADJUSTMENT
The speed adjustment dial is located on the sander housing (3). The
speed is selected according to the needs (depending on sanding
paper used, workpiece hardness, type of work, etc.). Rotate the
speed adjustment dial (3) to increase or decrease the working disc
speed (fig. H).
WORKING WITH THE SANDER
Sanded surfaces should be dry, free of foreign bodies, such as
screws, nails, bolts, etc.
The sander should be held firmly with both hands.
• Switch on the sander and wait until the working disc reaches the
maximum speed.
