Dear Parents,
Congratulations on your purchase of a Zapf Creation AG product. We would recommend that you read
through the instructions for use carefully before using the product for the first time and retain the
packaging for future references.
Important Information:
• Dry the product thoroughly before opening the battery compartment.
• Do not leave the product near an electrical source or apparatus when wet.
• By following these instructions carefully you can ensure that playing with the product is
problem-free and that it has a long life.
• Use only original accessories as otherwise we cannot guarantee the functionality of components.
• Be aware of supervising your child.
All about batteries/rechargeable batteries
• Use alkaline batteries for best performance and longer life.
• Use only the battery type recommended for the unit.
• Batteries must only be replaced by an adult.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.
• When the product is not used for an extended time, switch button to "OFF" position for longer battery
life. We also recommend removing batteries to prevent possible leakage and damage to the unit.
• If moisture gets into the battery compartment, dry with a cloth.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy and taken to a special waste collection point.
Preparation
Insertion of batteries should be done by an adult as follows:
1. Set the switch on the battery compartment to "OFF".
2. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment.
3. Insert the 3 AAA (LR03) batteries. Please check if the polarity is correct.
4. Screw the cover of the battery compartment back on again.
5. Set the switch on the battery compartment to "ON".
6. Included Batteries are only intended to use for demonstration at retail. If necessary, please exchange
the batteries before using the product for the first time.
Please ensure that no water penetrates the electronics of the battery compartment, i.e. always make sure
that the battery compartment is securely and tightly closed before giving the product to your child to
play with.
Function
As soon as my little BABY born® Nappy Time is switched to "ON", she babbles happily in her baby
language and kicks her legs. Please ensure that my little BABY born® Nappy Time always has a dry nappy
on before beginning play.
my little BABY born® can drink real water. Please fill the bottle provided with fresh tap water. Warning: All
other liquids can block the tubes inside the doll. Then screw the cap onto the bottle tightly. To feed her,
place my little BABY born® Nappy Time in an upright position, push the tip of the bottle deep into her
mouth and squeeze the sides of the bottle. The tip of the bottle should be pointing downwards.
my little BABY born® Nappy Time makes a sucking sound while drinking from the bottle. my little BABY
born® Nappy Time's nappy will become wet as soon as she drinks. She will feel uncomfortable, start to
cry and kick her legs.
