Using the dishwasher
• Fill the detergent dispenser with 1 rinsing tablet,
Detergent powder or machine washable liquid detergent.
• The marking indicates the dosing stages:
1.1 Main flushing chamber:
„MIN" means approx. 20 g detergent.
1.2 Pre-rinse chamber:
approx. 5 g powder or liquid rinsing agent (no tabs)
for heavily soiled dishes
• Note: For information on the amount of detergent for
each program, refer to the table of washing programs.
Please observe the manufacturer's dosage and storage
recommendations (indicated on the detergent packaging).
• Close the lid firmly until it clicks into place.
• The dosing unit opens automatically when the rinsing process
has been started and releases the detergent.
Detergents
Normally pulverised detergent is without phosphate. Thus the water softener
function of phosphate is not given. In this case we recommend to fill salt in the
salt container even when the hardness of water is only 6 °dH.
Otherwise often white spots appear on dishes and glasses. To reach better re-
sults, please add more detergent.
Detergents without chlorine do only bleach a little. Strong spots will not be remo-
ved completely. In this case please choose a program with a higher temperature.
Concentrated detergent
Based on their chemical composition, dishwashing detergents can be divided
into two basic types:
• Conventional alkaline detergents with corrosive components
• low alkaline, concentrated detergents with natural enzymes
The use of the „Eco" dishwashing programme in combination with the use of
concentrated detergents is suitable for dishwashing normally soiled dishes and is
specially adapted to the soil-dissolving properties of the enzymes of the concen-
trated detergent. This allows you to achieve the same results that can otherwise
only be achieved with the „Intensive" programme.
Detergent tablets
• The detergent tablets of different brands dissolve at different rates. For this re-
ason some detergent tablets do not dissolve during the short wash cycles and
can thus develop a sufficiently effective cleaning power. Therefore always choo-
se a longer program, if you use the detergent tablets.
