BOOST MODE (depending on model)

Allows great pool chlorination in case of exceptionally high frequentation, abundant rains, of cloudy water
and that any other factor pulling a greater need of chlorine.
The production settles to the 10 (100 %) position, automatically during the remaining filtration time for the
day or for 24 hours ; in case of continued functioning of the filtration. The BOOST mode is not available if
the production is settling to the 0 position (0 %).
 Put the filtration in Hand mode during 24 hours.
 Press on time on the key
The device shows « bo ».
The key (depending on model) allows stopping the BOOST mode at any time.

The boost mode is a preventive and not curative mode !
It is not possible to replace it by a classical shock treatment in the case of water of swimming pool unfit for the
bathing.

5/ USE

You have to make these operations before the switched on of the device.

CHECKING THE WATER PARAMETERS

When installing the device or at the beginning of any new season, it is imperative to check and correct all
the following points :
State of the water
Temperature of the
water
pH
Stabilizer
Free chlorine rate
Be careful : the non compliance with these recommendations will involve inevitably a misuse of the device
which entails the annulation of guarantee.
Be careful with natural water sources (drilling waters) !
Preferably use water from the public water supply. Avoid using any water from natural sources (rain, run off
water, reservoirs, and wells) under risk of early deterioration of chlorination cell.
The efficiency of a chemical treatment using some chlorine decreases very quickly with the increase of the pH.
The scale deposit settles all the more fast as the pH is raised or unstable.

Important : whatever is the system of chemical process, the efficiency of the chlorine decreases very
quickly with the increase of the pH and the scale deposits appear all the more fast as the pH rate is
high or unstable.

Important: The role of the stabilising agent or isocyanurique acid is to protect the chlorine from the
effects of UV. A too important rate will have for consequence to surround the disinfecting effect of
the chlorine produced by the device. Lower the rate of stabilizing agent in your pool by following the
recommendations of your professional.
