Setting up the Wireless Microphone System

Warning
To maintain a sterile surgical field, set up the transmitter and
headpiece prior to scrubbing for surgery.
Connecting the Headpiece
1. Connect the headpiece connector to the audio-input jack on the
transmitter.
2. Position the headpiece over the head.
3. Clip any excess cords to the back of the surgical gown.

Connecting the Receiver

1. Attach the two antennae to the rear receiver panel.
2. Position the receiver on a stable surface near the SIDNE® console.

3. Connect the power cord.
• Connect one end of the power cord to the power input jack on the
back of the receiver panel.
• Connect the other end of the power cord to the 16-volt power jack
on the rear SIDNE console panel.
4. Connect the receiver cable.
• Connect one end of the receiver cable to the unbalanced audio
output jack on the back of the receiver panel.
• Connect the other end of the receiver cable to the headset jack on
the back of the SIDNE console.
Place the receiver in an open area to provide the best audio
quality.
