Quick Startup Guide

This section outlines the startup instructions for experienced users. Refer to the
relevant section(s) of this manual for further details.
1. Install the upgrade cartridge.
a. Remove the metal plate from the back of the console. Twist both
thumbscrews counterclockwise until the plate comes away from
the console.
b. Insert the voice upgrade cartridge into the open slot. Turn the
thumbscrews on the cartridge clockwise until the cartridge is
securely attached to the console.
2. Power on the SIDNE® console and install the upgrade version 2.0
software. SIDNE will reboot and automatically power off. Power on the
SIDNE console.
3. Connect the video input and output cables to SIDNE.
4. Setup the SIDNE wireless microphone headset.
5. Power on the SIDNE console.
6. Select the desired video source.
