Attaching the Battery Adaptor

These instructions give the steps for attaching the
battery adaptor to the CA-550/550P. The battery
adaptor can be attached by screws or by the supplied
attachment (supplied as an assembly).
Notes
• The back tally lamp is not visible when the battery
adaptor is attached to the CA-550/550P.

Screwing the Battery Adaptor

Perform the following procedure to screw the battery
adaptor to the camera adaptor.

Remove the caps from the
screw holes on the camera
adaptor rear surface.

Take out the hexagonal wrench
stored in the battery adaptor.

Screw the battery adaptor to
the camera adaptor using the
hexagonal wrench. Connect
the DC power cord to the DC
IN connector on the camera
adaptor.

Put the hexagonal wrench
back.
• When attaching the battery adaptor to the CA-57A/
57AP, a plate with screw holes for the CA-57A/57AP
is required (not supplied).

personnel.
Note
This method cannot be used with the CA-55A/55AP.
