remove O-ring (3), spring (4) and mesh filter (5);
l
unscrew the screws (7) to remove cover (6) and ex-
l
tract filter (8);
clean the mesh filter (5) with fuel and replace the
l
filter (8);
check the O-rings and replace them if damaged or
l
worn; reverse procedure to reassemble;
once filters are clean and/or replaced, reinstall the
l
drain plug (2) and fill with the specified oil quantity.

COOLANT LEVEL CHECK

Check level (1) in right-hand radiator when engine is
cold (place the motorcycle so that it is perpendicular to
the ground). The coolant should be approximately 0.39
in. above the cells. Remove the saddle turning the rear
fixing (2) counter clockwise.

Remove the expansion tank cap (3) and make sure that
the fluid is about 3.15 in. below the top edge of the
hole (4).
The radiator cap (5) features two locking positions, the
first being for the previous pressure discharge of the
cooling system.
