12. OPERATING ANOMALIES

In the event of abnormalities (or leaving the selector knob in the OPEN position or the exercise valve in
the STEAM EXHAUST position) the speed of cooking will be compromised but not the safety of the user.
ANOMALY
If the lid
does not close

does not increase
(with the indicator

If one of the security

If the lid does not open

13. MAINTENANCE

•
For proper operation of the pressure cooker it is necessary to:
-
Wash the body of the pressure cooker after each use with water and liquid soap using a
sponge. If necessary, wash in a dishwasher using an ECO cycle
-
If dots or stains appear on the inside use vinegar or lemon juice or specific products for steel
-
Always wash the lid by hand, using tap water, soap and a sponge
• For the seal of the cover:
INTERVENTION
- Check that the seal is clean and properly inserted
- Check the position of the lid and of the jaws
on the edge of the pressure cooker
- Check the correct closing of the cover
- Check the correct position of the operating valve and make sure it is not
in the "Steam exhaust" position
- Verify that the heat source is strong enough and possibly increase it
- Check that the seal of the cover is correctly positioned and is not damaged
- Check that the quantity of liquid inside the pressure cooker is sufficient
- If after a few minutes the problem persists turn off the heat source
immediately
- Cool the pressure cooker under tap water
- Open the pressure cooker and check that the operating valve
is not obstructed, in this case clean the valve conduct.
- Turn off immediately the heat source
- Cool the pressure cooker under the tap water
- Check the correct position of the lid seal
- Check the correct closure of the lid
- Check the perfect cleanliness of the lid's edge and of the seal
- Turn off immediately the heat source
- Let the pressure cooker cool down without moving it
- Place the selector of the operating valve on the STEAM EXHAUST position
- Wait until there is no more pressure inside the pressure cooker (block
lever device lowered)
- Open the lid and check that the operating valve is not obstructed, if it is clean it
- If problem persists contact customer support department
- Check that the selector of the operating valve is on the STEAM EXHAUST
position
- Check that that the block lever device is lowered

Regularly remove the seal after use. TO PERFORM THIS
OPERATION DO NOT USE A CUTTING OR POINTED
OBJECT

Wash the seal with liquid soap and rinse it under the water
tap

Replace the seal in its internal lid location
