5.1 PACKAGING
After removing the original packaging, it advisable to save it in case the grinder needs to be moved. The
original packaging serves only to protect the coffee grinder during transport.
5.2 CONNECTION TO THE MAINS
Before connection the coffee grinder cord to a socket make sure the main switch is on "0".
Scrupulously follow the instructions in chapter 3 for your safety and the safety of others.
5.3 FILLING THE HOPPER
Remove cover 1 and insert the coffee beans.
Do not start the coffee grinder without having filled the hopper.
5.4 STARTING THE GRINDER
Before starting the grinder after a long period of no use, clean it.
• Put the plug in to socket with earthing after having made sure that the mains voltage is the same as the
one indicated on the operating data plate applied to the machine.
• Put the coffee grinder in a place away from sources of heat or sprays of water and steam.
• Pour the coffee beans in the container and close it with the cover.

Put the main switch 5 on M mode, pos. I
Put the filter holder on its bracket under the coffee exit 4, push with the filter holder the button 6, till the
desired quantity is achieved.
Automatic mode
Put the main switch 5 on mode A, pos II
Adjust the quantity of grinded coffee through the potentiometer 7, which is under the grinder (picture a).
When you turn it clockwise the quantity of grinded coffee reduces, when you turn it anti-clockwise, the
quantity of grinded coffee increases.
Put the filter holder on the bracket 8 under the coffee exit 4, push once the button 6. When the
adjusted quantity is reached, the grinder stops automatically.
6. CLEANING, REPAIRING OR MAINTENANCE WORK
Before carrying out cleaning, repairing or maintenance work on the coffee grinder disconnect the plug from
the socket.
6.1 REPAIRING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not open the coffee grinder, in the event of faults which involve repairs or maintenance, contact a QUICK
MILL authorised Technical Service Centre only. The manufacturer shall not be held liable for inadequate
operations.
6.2 CLEANING
Before carrying out cleaning always disconnect the plug from the socket. Remove the coffee bean container
(when it is empty) by turning it to the left. The container can be washed (not in a dishwasher). However, it
needs to be completely dry before refitting it. Remove any residual coffee powder from the three catch
grooves on the head of the mechanism. Once the container is removed the head of the mechanism and
graduated ring can also be removed, by turning to the left, anti-clockwise, for around 6 turns (Fig. 4). Now
you can clean any grinding residue, using a clean dry brush, and possibly a toothpick (never use metal
objects) Never use water to clean any of the parts related to the motor.
7. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
If the grinder is not going to be used for a long time, remove the plug from the socket, keep it away from
atmospheric agents (dust, dirt, etc.) storing it in a safe place out of the reach of children. If you decide not to
use the appliance any longer, it is advisable to make it unusable by cutting the power supply cord after
unplugging it. If possible store the product in its original packaging.
