The newer small balers bale density varies from
200...250kg/m3 and in the older balers the density
varies from 130...180kg / m.
In large rectangular and round bales usually the
highest density in the scale can be used. It can
also be used as a rule of thumb if the density of a
large bale is not known.
2.3.5. WAIT.. in the display
After pressing the TEST button the display will
show WAIT until the moisture reading is displayed.
2.3.6. Measurement and the handling of the result
After the measurement the result is displayed as a
percentage of moisture.
Apart from the moisture reading the display shows
the temperature (if the external temperature probe
is attached) and the bale density setting that is
used. If you have made an adjustment in the result
this is displayed underneath the temperature
reading.
When the result is displayed you can choose and
store the average result by pressing MENU –
AVERAGE-OK or you can adjust the reading with
ADJUST- or ADJUST + and OK.
A. Saving and erasing the average result
The average reading of several test results can be
achieved by adding the individual results to the
average register. When the meter displays the
moisture reading, press the MENU button until the
ADD AVERAGE is displayed and press OK. The
meter calculates and displays the average after
each measurement when the ADD AVERAGE
function is used.
You can clear the average register by switching
the meter on and pressing the MENU button until
the AVERAGE is shown in the display. Choose it
by pressing OK and select ERASE.
B. Adjusting the result
You can adjust each scale up or down in
increments of 1/10 percent. When the moisture
content is displayed, first choose the direction of
the adjustment ADJUST + or ADJUST - with the
MENU button; the display shows your correction
as a percentage value. Wait until you again have
