2.2 Function.

The Contractor BRS blast machine is designed for the effective abrasive blasting of metal
structures and components while keeping the surrounding working area clean.
Abrasive blasting is used to remove various non-greasy contaminants, welding burr and
wire edge, and provide roughness, surface hardening and decorative properties by using
recirculated abrasive.
Owing to the vacuum system of abrasive recovery, abrasive blasting can be performed outside
dedicated facilities and chambers without contaminating the surrounding area with abrasive
and the particles from treated surfaces. Another advantage of this machine is that the close-
loop system and the cleaning area dust-removal system require minimal protective measures
for ensuring operator safety.
