6.2 Servicing.

6.2.1 Changing nozzle and vacuum head components
The nozzle should be changed if its cross-sectional diameter has increased by 2 mm or,
sooner, if the working pressure has markedly decreased.

In order to change the brush, carry out the following actions:
1. Unscrew the screws (11) and remove the brush (8) from the ring (7).
2. Mount the new brush and secure it with pointed screws (11).
3. For ease in mounting the brush, the ring (7) can first be removed from the body (1)
by unscrewing the screws (10).

In order to change the nozzle, carry out the

Remove the crinkled vacuum hose from the
body of the vacuum head (1).
Unscrew the vacuum head from the nozzle
holder (5). Check the seal in the nozzle
holder for wear, and replace the nozzle
holder if necessary. To this end, unscrew the
tapping screw, remove the nozzle holder from
the blast hose and install the new nozzle
holder in the reverse order.
Unscrew the screws (13).
Pull out the nozzle (3) with the flange (2) and
pipe (4) from the body (1).
After unscrewing the screws (12), pull out the
pipe (4) and nozzle (3) from the flange (2). If
necessary, replace the nozzle and pipe.
Assemble the head in the reverse order.
