Disinfect FreeHands Support (fig. 22) with one of the following methods:
• Ethanol 70% for 10 minutes
• Isopropylalcohol 70% for 10 minutes
• Hydrogenperoxide 3% for 60 minutes
Caution: Do not clean or disinfect by any other method as this might cause product damage and injury.
2.5 Storage instructions
When not in use, clean and disinfect the device as described above and then store it in a clean and dry place at room
temperature. Protect from direct sunlight.
2.6 Device lifetime
Provox FreeHands Support is a single patient use device and should be replaced after 6 months of use (fig. 24). Check
the device for signs of damage before each use according to the Inspection procedures (section 2.2).
Provox FreeHands Support Adhesive is for single use (fig. 25). It is disposable and shall be discarded after use.
2.7 Disposal
Handling and disposing should be carried out in agreement with medical practice and applicable national laws and
legislations.

3. Additional Information

3.1 Compatibility with MRI Examination
Provox FreeHands Support is MRI unsafe. This device contains metallic parts and should therefore not be used during
an MRI examination.
3.2 Travel or International use
Provox FreeHands Support contains metallic parts; please take this into account when traveling.
