WARNINGS FOR USE
• The User must be in possession of the technical approval certificate
(Log Book), insurance and road fund certificate and an appro-
priate driving licence.
• The identification plate must be applied to the vehicle.
A helmet must be worn at all times (helmet approved by ECE/ONU).
• Always comply with the highway code: signs, rights of way, pedestrian
crossings, speed limits, overtaking prohibitions, etc.
• Any tampering with the engine or other parts in order to increase
speed or power is forbidden by law; in fact, making modifications
that increase speed above the permitted limit or increasing engine
power makes the moped a motorcycle to all legal intents and purposes
and therefore obliges the owner to gain official approval for the
new vehicle, register it and to be in possession of the
prescribed licence.
Infringements are punished by law by penalties that include
confiscation.
• Using the vehicle for sporting purposes on circuits or private land
voids the warranty and exonerates MALAGUTI Spa from any liability
for harm to things or persons as the User has been warned that such
use constitutes an improper use of the vehicle.
• Bearing in mind the above we strongly advise that any modifications
made to make the vehicle suitable for sporting use be carried out by
expert technicians on their own direct responsibility and remind you
that after such modifications your vehicle may no longer be authorised
to circulate on the public highway.
• In countries in which the law permits the carrying of a
passenger, make sure that the passenger wears an approved helmet
and do not carry children or persons who are unable to remain seated

in the saddle unassisted.
• Do not carry passengers unless they have first been warned and
instructed on how they must behave whilst the vehicle is travelling.
WEIGHT HAND MAXIMUM LOAD
The weight of the vehicle during operation is 118 kg. Make sure the total
weight of the luggage, driver, passenger and accessories does not exceed
the maximum load of 160 kg (see also note on page 38).
ACCESSORIES
• MALAGUTI Spa guarantees that Original MALAGUTI MALBO
Accessories distributed by the MALAGUTI Dealers and Retailers
Network can be fitted to your vehicle.
• MALAGUTI Spa is not liable for any harm or damage suffered by the
vehicle or harm suffered by the user due to the fitting of accessories
that have not been approved by MALAGUTI Spa. Equally, MALAGUTI
Spa is not liable for any harm or damage suffered by the vehicle or
harm suffered by the user due to the fitting of accessories, even if the
accessories have been approved by MALAGUTI Spa. In such cases,
liability rests solely with the person who fitted the accessories.
• If you wish to fit electric or electronic accessories, always make sure
that they do not interfere with the vehicle's normal operation and in
case of doubt contact the MALAGUTI network of agents and Dealers
for full information.
• If you wish to fit a non-approved part to the vehicle, contact MALAGUTI
Spa before doing so to find out if said accessory is compatible with
your vehicle.
