The muffler radiates heat even after the engine has just been turned off.
We therefore recommend you to carefully read the following instructions:
• always allow the engine and the muffler to cool down before any maintenance operation, in order to avoid hot surfaces.
• Make sure you do not park or stop your vehicle on grass, dead leaves or other easily inflammable materials.
• Before he/she gets off/on the vehicle, warn the passenger that the muffler is hot, being the passenger hand holding devices nearby.
