Controllare periodicamente lo stato del
consumo delle pasticche dei freni (Fig. 1). Se lo
spessore di una sola pasticca è di 1,5 mm. rivol-
gersi ad un Concessionario o Distributore DERBI.
Dopo aver sostituito le pasticche, non usare il vei-
colo prima di aver azionato la leva del freno varie
volte con il fine di regolare i pistoni e finché il per-
corso della leva ritorni alla sua posizione corretta.
Freni a disco anteriore e posteriore
Il consumo del disco e delle pasticche si com-
pensano automaticamente. Pertanto non ha effet-
to nel funzionamento del freno. Per questa ragio-
ne non è necessario regolare il medesimo. Se
azionando la leva del freno, ci si accorge che è
eccessivamente elastico, questo si deve sicura-
mente alla presenza d'aria nel circuito o alla irre-
golarità di funzionamento dello stesso freno.
In questo caso, considerando soprattutto il
ruolo fondamentale che assumono i freni nella
sicurezza della guida, è necessario portare il vei-
colo ad un Concessionario o Distributore DERBI.

La presenza in strada di sabbia, fango, neve
mescolata con sale, ecc., può ridurre drastica-
mente la durata delle pasticche. Per evitare ques-
to inconveniente, consigliamo di lavare il veicolo
con maggior frequenza nelle sopraindicate condi-
zioni.

Check periodically if the brake pads are
worn (Fig. 1). If the width of just one pad is 1.5
mm, go to your nearest Dealer or Distributor
DERBI. After replacing the brake pads, do not use
the vehicle before pressing the brake lever to
adjust the pistons and so the brake lever returns
to its correct position.
Front and back brake pads
The brake pads and brake disc wear compen-
sate by itself automatically. So, it does not have
an effect over the brake performance. Because of
this reason it is not necessary to adjust it. If the
brake lever is pressed, and you find it too soft, this
must be because of the pressence of air inside
the brake circuit or because it exists an irregularity
at the brake system. In this case, and taking in to
account the basic function of it, it is necessary to
take the vehicle to your nearest Dealer or Distribu-
tor DERBI.

The roads with snow mixed with salt, mud,
and sand etc., can reduce drastically the brake
pad duration. To avoid this, we recommend you to
wash the vehicle frequently when driving under
those conditions.

Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig den
Abnutzungszustand der Bremsklötze (Abb. 1).
Wenn die Dicke des Bremsbelags 1,5 mm beträgt,
wenden Sie sich an einen Vertragshändler oder
DERBI Verteiler. Nach dem Ersatz der
Bremsklötze, können Sie Ihr Fahrzeug erst in
Betrieb nehmen, wenn Sie den Bremshebel
mehrmals betätigt haben, so dass der Kolben und
der Betätigungsweg angepasst werden.
Vordere und hintere Scheibenbremsen
Die Abnutzungserscheinungen der Scheiben
und der Klötze gleichen sich automatisch aus. Die
Abnützung hat also keine Auswirkung auf die
Funktionsweise der Bremsen. Deshalb ist es nicht
notwendig den Betrieb zu regulieren. Wenn Sie
die Bremse betätigen und merken, dass sie zu
stark nachgibt, dann liegt es daran, dass Luft im
Kreislauf ist oder, dass eine Unregelmäßigkeit im
Bremssystem aufgetreten ist. Bedenken Sie, dass
die Bremsen eine ausschlaggebende Rolle in der
Sicherheit Ihres Fahrzeuges spielen. Lassen Sie
es deshalb von einem Vertragshändler oder
DERBI Verteiler anpassen.

Sand, Schlamm, Schnee mit Salz, etc. auf
den Straßen können die Lebensdauer der
Bremsklötze erheblich beeinträchtigen. Um dies
vorzubeugen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, dass Sie Ihr
Fahrzeug bei solchen Verhältnissen häufiger
waschen.
