9.1

Battery conversion kit parts list

The battery conversion kit consists of a battery pack,
charger and grounding wire.
9.2

Attaching the ground wire

Grounding is necessary only when
i
the foot pedal is not in contact with a
conducting surface.
To ground the converter with battery kit, attach the
alligator-clip end of the grounding wire to an electrically
grounded metal part.
9.3 Replacing the AC power supply with the
battery pack
1. Remove the power plug from the wall socket and turn
the main switch to the "OFF" or "O" position.
2. Detach the cutter unit power (A) and the foot switch
(B) cables from the power supply unit.
3. Remove the power supply unit from the stand by lifting
up then out. Store the power supply unit in a safe
place for future use.

4. Attach the battery pack to the stand. The main switch
should be in the "OFF" or "O" position.
5. Locate the power adapter cable, Ranpak part number
EE-0981.
6. Connect the power adapter cable to the battery pack in
the two locations as indicated.
7. Connect the cutter unit power cable to the power
adapter cable.
8. Attach the foot switch power cable to the battery pack.
9. Turn the main switch to the "ON" or "I" position.
The Converter is now ready for use
