Warning: Failure to install the screws or fixing device in accordance with these instructions may result in
electricalhazards.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
Only for hoods equipped with electronic control:
The 4th speed (intensive) is automatically lowered to 3rd speed after 5 minutes of operation to optimise energy consumption.
- If the hood is left on (lights and/or motor), after 10 hours in the absence of commands from the user, it will automatically
switch to OFF condition with all services switched off.
- The Buzzer emits a "beep" each time that a command is set from the keyboard or remote control (optional).
- In the event of interruption of power during the hood, if you restore the hood in the OFF state, then the engine must
be reactivate manually.
DESCRIPTION
The unit can be found in filtering hoods or ducting hoods.
In the Filtering version the air and the kitchen fumes that are conveyed by the apparatus are depurated by the charcoal
filters and put back into the room through the small grilles of the ventilation flue (Fig. 1). ATTENTION: When using the
filtering version, a charcoal filters and an air baffle (Fig. 1A) must be used, which placed at the top of the structure, allows
the air to recycle back into the room.
In the Ducting version, cooking vapours and odours are conveyed straight outside by a disposal duct which passes through
the ceiling (Fig. 2).

INSTALLATION

ATTENTION: Three people are required for proper installation; the unit should be installed by a qualified operator.
Also follow carefully each step of the assembly instructions, and once installation has been completed, make sure
that the hood is firmly secured in place.
For assembling it is essential to: – Prepare the connection to the mains within the telescopic structure. – If your unit
is installed in a ducting hood, prepare the air exhaust hole.
Ductng version:
- When installing ducting hoods, to achieve the best possible conditions use an air exhaust pipe that : is as short as
possible, has a minimum of curves (maximum angle: 90°), is made of a material that complies with the standards (which
vary from nation to nation) and is smooth on the inside. It is also advisable to avoid any drastic changes in pipe section
(diameter: 150 mm).
- Using the drilling jig make the holes for fixing to the ceiling on the vertical line of your hob; carefully follow all the
indications for final positioning of the hood. Bear in mind that one of the axes of the drilling jig must correspond to
the axis of the hood controls. Secure the telescopic structure to the ceiling using the screws and screw anchors provided
(Fig. 3); Pay attention as positioning of the structure determines the final position of the hood: the opening B must
be at the front.
- Adjust the height of the telescopic structure with the 8 retaining screws C (Fig. 4); To determine the height (H) of
the telescopic structure, refer to the measurements indicated in Fig. 5 bearing in mind that the distance between the
hood and the hob must be at least 650 mm.
- Connect the air exhaust pipe to the metal flange (D) on the inside of the telescopic structure (Fig. 6).
- Take the flange with valve (E) and fit it to the air vent of the hood, exercising slight pressure (Fig. 7).
- Take the upper part of the hood (pipe with slots) and fit it on the telescopic structure with the slots at the bottom
(Fig. 8); Secure it to the telescopic structure with 2 screws.
- Take the lower part of the hood, open the metal panel and remove the grease filter (Fig. 9). Secure the lower part
of the hood to the upper part, inserting the 4 pins (F) in the holes and lock everything with 4 nuts and 4 washers (Fig.
10) working from the inside of the hood.
- Make the electrical connection by means of the power cable.
At this point, installation has been completed and the grease filter can be fitted.
Filtering version:
- Using the drilling jig make the holes for fixing to the ceiling on the vertical line of your hob; carefully follow all the
indications for final positioning of the hood. Bear in mind that one of the axes of the drilling jig must correspond to
the axis of the hood controls.
- Separate the upper from the lower telescopic structure by removing the screws (C) and washers (Fig. 4).
- Insert the air baffle (G) in the upper telescopic structure (Fig. 11).
- Fit the flange (L) on the baffle (Fig. 11) and connect a flexible hose locking it with a metal clamp (hose and clamp
are not provided).
- Secure the upper telescopic structure to the ceiling using the screws and screw anchors provided (Fig. 12).
- Fit the lower telescopic structure and secure it to the upper one with 8 screws (C) and washers (Fig. 13). Pay attention
