Closing the housing
Caution
Damage to the ribbon cable.
The ribbon cable may become trapped and damaged when the housing is being mounted.
Position the ribbon cable carefully.
When mounting the housing:
Ensure that the ribbon cable is not trapped.
Scratches on the door handle.
The door handle may be scratched when the decorative housing is being pushed on.
Only remove the protective sleeve once the decorative housing has been mounted.
Push the decorative housing over the inner fitting.
Fix the decorative housing with 2 countersunk screws.
The security fitting is ready for operation.
