Universal steel safe
Mounting guidelines
Attention!
Please read mounting guidelines before starting assembly to avoid momentous mistakes!
You can install the safe in vehicles or in living quarters.
With its fastening area the safe can be installed vertically or horizontally (on top or bottom).
Principally load-bearing parts must not be drilled.
For drilling in vehicles, at brickwork and in furnishings take care of hidden wires and lines to avoid
damages and consequential damages.
Assembly:
Choose a place for mounting that the steel-box can be taken out without any problems when base
frame is screwed on.
You need an amount of space of approximately 28 cm x 28 cm. On both longitudinal sides you
need approximately 7 cm free space.
Prefer a hidden place for mounting, which is not located in the direct field of vision.
The mounting place should always be accessible for you (also in vehicle, when fully loaded).
Take the steel box out of the base frame. Mark the fastening points with the base frame on your
selected mounting place.
Use the side with the raised bulges for screw connection, that the heads of the mounting screws
cannot jam the safe-box by insertion or removal. The opposite drillings in the base frame facilitate
the marking and fixing of the frame. The base frame has to be mounted on distance washers that
the cover angle of the safe-box-frontage cannot become stuck at the mounting place.
The mounted safe protects valuables (money, jewellery, mobile phones, etc.) against easy access.
Note:
The mounting material has to be adapted to the conditions of the particular mounting place.
