Assembly Instructions
Before beginning your program of training, study the instructions for training carefully.
You receive important indications for your safety as well as for using and servicing the Leg Press. Please keep the ma-
nual carefully for your information or else for servicing or any spare part orders.
For Your Safety
The Leg Press should only be used for its intended purpose, i.e.
■
for physical exercise by adults.
Any other use of the equipment is prohibited and may be dan-
■
gerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage or
injury caused by improper use of the equipment.
The Leg Press has been designed in accordance with the latest
■
standards of safety. Any features which may have been a pos-
sible cause of injury have been avoided or made as safe as
possible.
The unit complies with the standard DIN EN 957.
■
Incorrect repairs and structural modifications (e.g. removal or
■
replacement of original parts) may endanger the safety of the
user.
Damaged components may endanger your safety or reduce the
■
lifetime of the equipment. For this reason, worn or damaged
Handling the equipment
Before using the equipment for exercise, check carefully to en-
■
sure that it has been correctly assembled.
During exercise, ensure that all the necessary safety elements
■
are in place and that they cannot work loose.
Do not set the equipment up in rooms that are frequently used
■
or close to doors, entrances etc.
Do not store or use the equipment in damp rooms.
■
The surface on which the Leg Press is placed must be firm and
■
even.
Instructions for Assembly
Please ensure that you have received all the parts required (see
■
check list), and that they are undamaged. Should you have any
cause for complaint, please contact your Kettler dealer.
Before assembling the equipment, study the drawings carefully
■
and carry out the operations in the order shown by the dia-
grams. The correct sequence is given in capital letters.
The fastening material required for each assembly step is
■
shown in the diagram inset. Use the fastening material exactly
as instructed. The required tools are supplied with the equip-
ment.

When ordering spare parts, always state the full article number,
spare-part number, the quantity required and the inspection num-
ber stamped on the back.
Example order: Art. no. 7459-700/spare-part no. 10100092/
2 pieces/inspection no......
Important: spare part prices do not include fastening material; if
fastening material (bolts, nuts, washers etc.) is required, this
parts should be replaced immediately and the equipment taken
out of use until it has been done. Use only original Kettler spa-
re parts.
Please contact your Kettler dealer for all enquiries.

If the equipment is in regular use, check all its components tho-
■
roughly every 1 – 2 months. Pay particular attention to the tight-
ness of bolts and nuts.
Instruct people using the equipment (in particular children) on
■
possible sources of danger during exercising.
Before beginning your program of exercise, consult your doc-
■
tor to ensure that you are fit enough to use the equipment. Base
your program of exercise on the advice given by your doctor.
Incorrect or excessive exercise may damage your health.
Please also pay attention to the indications of the training ma-
■
nual.
The Leg Press is designed for use by adults, and children should
■
not be allowed to play with it. Children at play behave unpre-
dictably and dangerous situations may occur for which the ma-
nufacturer cannot be held liable. If, in spite of this, children are
allowed to use the equipment, ensure that they are instructed in
its proper use and supervised accordingly.
Do not use corrosive or abrasive materials to clean the equip-

ment. Ensure that such materials are not allowed to pollute the
environment.
The equipment must be assembled with due care by an adult.
■
It is recommended to carry out the assembly work with two
people.
Bolt all the parts together loosely at first. Do not tighten any of
■
the bolts until the assembly operation has been fully completed.
For technical reasons, we reserve the right to carry out prelimi-
■
nary assembly work (e.g. addition of tubing plugs).
