Inhaling with the mouthpiece
• Sit in an upright position and relax.
• Hold the mouthpiece between your teeth and enclose it with
your lips.
• Breathe in as slowly and deeply as possible through the
mouthpiece, and out again calmly.
• Carry out the inhalation treatment until the noise in the
nebuliser changes.
Some residual fluid will remain in the nebuliser after the end
of the treatment.
Inhaling with the PARI BABY mask
CAUTION
Impaired treatment due to escaping aerosol
If the mask does not form a seal on the face, aerosol may
escape. This may result in medication underdosage.
• Make sure that the mask completely covers both corners
of the mouth and the nose.
• Take note of possible side effects caused by escaping
aerosol. These are described in the information for use of
the respective medication.
The PARI BABY mask must always be used in conjunction
with the PARI BABY bend. The PARI BABY bend has ventil-
ation slits that enable the baby or infant to breathe in and
out without obstruction.
