Air filter
Take the air filter out of the compressor and inspect it at regu-
lar intervals (after every 10 applications). If it is discoloured
brown or grey, or if it is damp or clogged, replace it.
The filter must be replaced after 200 operating hours (ap-
prox. 1 year) at the latest [see: Replacing the air filter,
page 33].
The air filter cannot be cleaned and then reused!

Nebuliser with connection
tubing, mask and air filter
Compressor housing
Nebuliser and mask
The nebuliser and mask are not suitable for use by multiple pa-
tients. Use a separate nebuliser (including connection tubing)
and a separate mask for each patient.
Air filter
All air filters must only be used for one patient. Replace the air
filter before every patient change [see: Replacing the air filter,
page 33].
Disinfecting the compressor housing
For disinfection, use a standard, alcohol-based disinfectant
(e.g., isopropanol). Regarding the use and quantity of the disin-
fectant, it is imperative to follow the information for use of the
agent used.
To disinfect the compressor, proceed as follows:
• If the compressor is visibly dirty, clean the compressor be-
fore disinfecting it [see: Cleaning the compressor housing,
page 31].
