When operating an electric tool via the socket on
the VARIO-VAC 50 please pay attention to the
following:
Warning
Never use electric tools with a higher rated output
than that specified below the socket.
Never connect more than one electric tool to the
device.
B FILTER SYSTEMS
1 USING THE DUST BAG (PAPERFILTERBAG) (Fig. "B1")
Only use the dust bag if the filter insert is fitted.
The dust bag guarantees that dust extraction takes place
under hygienic conditions.
Extracting sharp or wet materials can damage the dust bag.
The dust bag must be replaced if two thirds full with dust.
The dust bag may not be reused, always replace with a new
one.
2 USING THE FLEECE FILTER BAG (Abb. "B3"
ONLY USE THE FLEECE FILTER BAG AFTER THE FILTER
INSERT HAS BEEN FITTED.
Place the fleece filter bag into the container (Fig. "B5") after
having moved the head of the device (cf. Fig. "A1").
Fold the upper edge of the fleecefilterbag over the upper
edge of the container (cf. Fig. "B3").
This fleecefilterbag is ideal for filtering fine dust such as
cement, talcum powder, etc..
Do not use the fleecefilterbag for moist or sharp materials.
3 USING THE FILTER INSERT (Fig. "B" – "B5")
Remove head of device from container and place upside
down (Fig. "B42") on floor. Place filler insert on mount, push
in firmly and screw in place with the Tommy screw on the
base (Fig. "B4").
Check the firm fit of the filter insert by pulling up slightly (Fig.
"B5"). Replace device head on container and clip in place.
The filter insert is used to extract dust and solid dirt.
The filter insert can be supplemented by the simultaneous
use of the dust bag or the fleece-filter-bag., which stops the
filter insert from becoming clogged.
Do not use the dustbag and the fleece-filter-bag for moist or
sharp materials.
4 EXHAUST AIR FILTER (Fig. B5")
This filter guarantees that the air discharged into the room
is free of dust.
C USING THE DEVICE
1
AS A DUST EXTRACTOR
The filter insert must always be inserted.
Warning:
To guarantee a high suction power the filter
insert must always be kept clean.
It should be cleaned or replaced
immediately if heavily soiled.
2
TO EXTRACT LIQUIDS
Always remove filter insert.
Warning:
Once the maximum level is reached in the
liquid tank a safety float switch automatically
stops extraction.
This is indicated by an audible increase in
the motor speed.
In such cases you should immediately
empty the liquid tank.
3
EXTRACTING LARGER AMOUNTS OF
LIQUID (Fig. "C1")
When extracting liquids from containers
make sure that the crack nozzle is not
submerged fully in the liquid so as to
guarantee a supply of air.
4
WITH ELECTRIC TOOLS (Fig. "C2" – "C3")
First connect the hose to the extraction
adapter (Fig. "C2") and then the electric tool,
using the universal rubber machine adapter
(Fig. "C3").
Make the electrical connection for the tool
and the device as described in "A3".
D DEVICE MAINTENANCE
Always unplug from the mains before starting any
maintenance and cleaning work or before replacing the filter
systems.
1 DUST BAG
Do not re-use dust bags, always replace with new bags.
2 FLEECE FILTER BAG (Fig. "D1")
To clean the fleece filter bag, empty and knock out over a
dustbin. Blow out with compressed air if necessary.
3 FILTER INSERT (Fig. "D2" – "D3")
Clean the filter insert frequently with a soft brush (Fig. "D2").
To clean the filter base, direct the service water jet from the
inside to the outside (cf. Fig. "D3").
Only replace after drying thoroughly.
If the insert filter is very dirty or damaged, it should always
be replaced.
We recommend always having a spare filter insert handy.
