ELECTRICAL CONNECTION ("001")
Before starting the device check that the rated
voltage complies with the specifications on the
ratings plate.
Your VARIO-VAC 50 has a ground wire (earth).
Please make sure that the mains circuit to which
you wish to connect the device has an earth
connection.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ("001")
The device may not be used in rooms filled
with combustible gases.
Do not extract any inflammable or explosive
materials with the VARIO VAC-50.
Always disconnect from the mains before
carrying out maintenance work.
The manufacturer and Storch cannot be held
liable in the event of incorrect use, if modi-
fications are made to the device and in the event
of inadequate maintenance.

A USE
1 ASSEMBLY (Fig. AB)
Place the container in the trolley so that the
lower edge of the boiler engages below the
front catch. The riveted boiler seam must be
at the back. Push the holder (E) over the rear
edge of the boiler and screw tight.
Push the trolley clip into the catch (F) from
above and down onto the trolley. Then screw
the clip tight in the catch.
2 UNHOOKING THE DEVICE HEAD (Fig. "A1")
Open device by pulling the two upper fastening
hooks apart so that the device head can be
removed. Make sure that the hooks clip firmly
into place during reassembly.
3 SWITCHING ON (Fig. "A2")
Using the device as a wet and dry extractor
(Fig. "A2")

to MANUAL position
Switch ("B)
To Pos. 0 = control lamp not on
To Pos. 1 = control lamp on
Using the device with electric tools
Switch ("A")
To Pos. AUTOMATIC
Switch ("B")
To Pos. 1 = control lamp on
If both switches are brought into this position, suction starts
automatically when the connected electric tool is switched on
and stops as soon as this is switched off again.
4 CONNECTING AN ELECTRIC TOOL TO THE WET AND DRY
EXTRACTOR (Fig. "A4" – "A5")
First plug the plug of the electric tool into the socket
on the head of the wet and dry extractor and then
connect the wet and dry extractor to the mains.
Warning The socket in the suction head is suitable for
connecting electric tools with a rated output of up to
2,000 watts.
