9 Maintenance and cleaning
9.1 Inspection intervals
NOTICE
• The maintenance intervals given are standard values and refer to single-shift operation.
• We recommend to record the inspections. The date of the inspection, the detected defects and the name of the
inspector must be recorded.
Check the following:
Every day by the user
Visual inspection:
Fume extraction system or parts of it
damaged?
Visual inspection:
Cable connections damaged?
Filling level of the dust collecting

Service life of carbon brushes
The carbon brushes have a service life of approx. 800 hours. The service life is reduced by 30% each time a carbon brush
is replaced. The carbon brushes can be replaced twice in total. After two replacements, the motor must then be replaced.

Seal the air inlet. As soon as the value on
the manometer indicator increases, an

Dust in the turbine area, remove dust
using an industrial vacuum cleaner
or a damp disposable cloth.
