One of the O-rings is damage or
dirty.
Sliding surfaces of the valve gate
(40) are damaged

Device not sufficiently powered
or application time too short.
Piston is jammed.

Compressed air pressure too low.
Incorrect release point settings.

Remedy
Clean or replair O-ring.
Polish sliding surfaces or replace
valve gate.
Replace release valve (see
chapter 4.1.4 "Replacing the
release valve" (page 6)).
After the release valve has been
changed, readjust the release
point, see "Appendix A.1.2" (page
11).
Place the device more forcefully
on the animal's head.
Check piston for easy movement
and repair, if necessary.
Clean and lubricate the parts.
Replace O-rings.
Replace release valve (see
chapter 4.1.4 "Replacing the
release valve" (page 6)).
Adjust pressure settings.
Readjust release point, "Appendix
A.1.2" (page 11).
Replace release valve (see
chapter 4.1.4 "Replacing the
release valve" (page 6)).
Adjust oiler settings (see chapter
3.1 "Commissioning" (page 3)).
Replace O-rings.
Replace retainer.

Install sleeve correctly (align the
locking recess in the sleeve with
