- Select a suitable installation site. Make sure that there is sufficient
clearance.
- Provide a 10-mm bore, insert the switch and screw the device on.
- Adjust the position of the selector lever by means of the universal joint
so that, wherever possible, the driver can operate the lever without hav-
ing to take his hand off the steering wheel.

Electrical Connection

- Cut the brown cable from the cable harness that leads to the electronics
at a length of approx. 300 mm after the contact.
- Mount the enclosed contact sleeves on both cable ends thus obtained.
- Proceed as described in the wiring diagram.
- Insulate the green and the grey cable of the electronics' cable harness.
