Safety
• This fan must never be used if the safety grille is partly or completely removed.
• This fan is only to be used indoors and in a dry and clean environment. Never place
the fan close to baths, swimming pools or containers full of liquid into which it
might fall.
• Always unplug the fan when it is not in use.
• The fan must never be used with a timer or other equipment which turns the power
on automatically.
• Never let children play with the fan.
• Never expose the fan to running water or other liquids.
• Never plug the fan in to an electrical socket when it is not fully assembled.
• Never cover the fan when it is in use.
• Make sure that foreign objects do not enter the fan since this can cause short
circuiting, electric shock, or a fire hazard.
• Never turn the fan off by pulling out its plug. Make sure that the On/Off switch is in
position "0" and then pull out the plug.
• Never use the fan near explosive gases/liquids.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the fan if the mains lead or
plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by the manufacturer, authorised
service facility or qualified tradesman.
