Introduction
This Quick Guide is aimed as an introduction for stand-alone use, with a
straightaway description of how easy it is to get the DC800 up and run-
ning and ready to use. The DC800 can easily be hooked up to a PC by
using the Bewator Entro Lite software package.
The primary goal is to let you have some cards working all the day, as
well as performing e g some tests of lock functions or similar and then go
further with customer specific programming of the DC800.
With the DC800 you can create groups of users (cards) with access to
the door only certain times and days. You can also decide on the security
level needed to access the door (e g Card + PIN) or changing the security
level depending of the time of day it is.
Further you can choose the DC800 to unlock the door automatically
certain times, or set up a manually toggle function to unlock (and lock) the
door by using the card.
To programme your DC800 to more customer specific tasks, please
read the DC800 Installation & User Manual (on the supplied CD) and
consider how it should work. At the end of the manual there are some
helpful charts to fill in, before you start the programming process.
This is the easy way to get it work
The DC800 have some pre-programmed factory settings. A time zone 01,
0:00 am – 11.59 pm day type 1234567 (i.e. all the week around) – and a
time schedule 01 with the time zone 01 linked to it. The security level is
Group code with time schedule 01, which also means that cards can be
used for access.
With these factory settings it is very easy to get the DC800 working in
the way that one - or more - cards can be used 24 hours a day.
Programming
