Switch on / off

• To switch the hood on or off, press the
button (21)

Fan

The fan (19) has three settings:
medium and
• To set the desired fan level, press the ap-
propriate button. It will light up.
• To switch off the fan, press the same but-
ton again. The light will go out.

Lighting

Your exhaust hood is equipped with two LED
lights. The lighting can be switched on or off
independently of the fans.

Activated charcoal filter

• When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
• For the source of supply, please see
chapter „Our Service Centre" on page
EN-22.
• To insert see „Installing/replacing the ac-
tivated charcoal filter (only for circulation
air operation)" on page EN-18).

Tips on saving energy

– Only switch on the fan when needed; oth-
erwise, energy will be wasted.
– Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes
or steam are present.
– The fan is not needed when cooking only
briefly or warming up foods that have lit-
tle or no odour.
– Ensure that there is enough supply air; oth-
erwise, the exhaust hood may not function
optimally. If necessary, open the window or
kitchen door.
– Clean grease filters (14) regularly.
