4. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• The warning triangle indicates all instructions which are important for safety. Always
follow these otherwise you could injure yourself or damage the device.
• Children may not play with the device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervision.
• Do not treat packaging material carelessly. This may become a dangerous plaything for
a child!
• Only use this product for its designated purpose!
• Do not manipulate or disassemble the device!
• For your own safety, only use accessories and spare parts that are stated in these instruc-
tions or that are recommended by the manufacturer!
• The inductive charger may not impair the vision of the vehicle driver.
• The driver may not be obstructed by the inductive charger.
• The inductive charger may not be mounted in the vicinity of the air bags or on head
impact zones. To do this, read the manual of your vehicle or ask your specialist workshop.
• Do not use the clip holder in vehicles where the air nozzles are adjusted automatically!
• Supervise the charging process.
• Use only suitable chargers or USB connectors for charging.
• Make sure that your mobile device does not overheat on the air vent when the heating
is in operation.
• To remove the cable, always pull on the plug itself, never on the cable.
• The StVZO (German Road Traffic Regulation or equivalent) must be observed when using
in traffic.
• Keep bank cards, credit cards and other similar magnetic cards away from the inductive
charger. Magnetic cards may be damaged and the data saved on them may be lost.

Installation of the holders
The inductive charger can be mounted either with a clip holder attached to the fins of an air vent or
attached to the windscreen using a suction cup holder. Both holders are secured to the inductive charger
with a ball-joint. To mount a holder, first unscrew the coupling nut on the rear of the inductive charger.
Then fit the coupling nut over the ball of the holder. Press the ball of the holder into the pan of the
inductive charger. Screw the nut onto the thread of the inductive charger and tighten.
