3.8 Correct the alignment with live values

If the alignment of the moveable machine needs to be adjusted, the adjustment mode
displays live coupling and feet values.
It is recommended to perform the vertical adjustment first, and then the horizontal
adjustment.
• Vertical adjustment:
Rotate the shaft to position the measuring units at the 12 o'clock position.
Press OK to confirm the 12 o'clock position.

Adjust the vertical positioning of the moveable machine, following the display on the
screen.
The adjustment can be done by adding or removing shims, according to the direction
and feet values displayed on the screen.
Follow the live changes of the coupling values and the alignment status compared with
the maximum acceptable misalignment value (only available when a rotational speed
has been informed See section 3.4 and 3.6).
