19. Replacing the battery of the remote control

If the range of the remote control supplied is reduced, the batteries (2 x 1.5 V AAA type Micro) must be
replaced.
To properly replace the battery, proceed as follows:
• Take the remote control and pull out the battery compartment on its rear downwards.
• Remove the used batteries
• Insert two batteries of the type AAA (Micro) into the battery holder, observing the correct polarity.
• Slide the battery compartment back into the remote control.

20. Maintenance and Cleaning

Before cleaning the casing of the LCD screen with digital recorder on the outside, disconnect the mains
adapter from the LCD screen with digital recorder. A clean, dry and soft cloth is sufficient to clean the out-
side of the LCD screen with digital recorder and the remote control.
This product does not have any serviceable parts except for mentioned battery replacement .

21. Disposal

a) General Information
Please dispose of the products at the end of their life cycles according to the relevant statutory regula-
tions.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
The end user is legally obliged (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries and rechargeable bat-
teries. Disposal in the household rubbish is prohibited.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the follow-
ing symbols, which point out that they must not be disposed of in the domestic refuse. The
designations for the decisive heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cell batteries free of charge at the
official collection points of your community, in our stores, or wherever batteries/ recharge-
able batteries/coin cell batteries are sold!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment!
