Tripod mounting

Attach the VCT-14/U14 Tripod Adaptor (optional) to
the tripod.

Mount the CBK-55BK on the tripod adaptor.
Slide the CBK-55BK forward along the
groove in the adaptor until it clicks.

Move the CBK-55BK forward and backward, and
make sure it does not detach.

Connection and Setup
Camera mount
To remove the CBK-55BK from the tripod
adaptor
Hold down the red button and pull the lever in the direction
of the arrow.

Note
The tripod adaptor pin may remain in the engaged position
even after the CBK-55BK is removed. If this happens,
press the red button and move the lever as shown above
until the pin returns to the stowed position. If the pin
remains in the engaged position, you will not be able to
mount the CBK-55BK on the tripod adaptor.

Connecting a video light

With this CBK-55BK, you can use the Anton Bauer
Ultralight 2 or equivalent video light (powered by 12 V
with maximum power consumption of 50 W).
The output of the LIGHT connector on the CBK-55BK is
controlled to 12 V even when the CBK-55BK is supplied
with over 12 V power (through the DC IN connector or
battery pack). The brightness or color temperature of the
light will not change according to voltage increase.
Notes
• Do not use a video light with power consumption of over
50 W.
• The brightness or color temperature of the light will
change when the voltage (supplied through the DC IN
connector or from the battery pack) is under 12 V.
