The control panel with function buttons
For your supervision, the control light by the buttons (except the Cancel button)
illuminates and lashes, depending on the setting made (Dry or Moist) resp. the
function activated by pressing the corresponding button. Once a function has been
completed, the corresponding control light goes out.
A Pulse Vacuum
As long as you keep this button pressed, the appliance vacuums and the blue
control light illuminates. Once you stop pressing the button, the vacuuming
process will stop and the blue control light will go out. This manual vacuuming
function is ideal for highly pressure sensitive foods or items, as the vacuuming
process can be stopped at any time.
B Vacuum & Seal
Button with blue control light, which irst starts the vacuuming process and then
automatically seals. In the standard setting Dry, the blue control light lashes
during the evacuation process. Once the sealing process starts, the green light
by Seal will additionally start lashing. If you have chosen the Moist setting,
the blue control light lashes during the evacuation process before lighting up
constantly once the sealing process starts. This will prompt the green control
light to start lashing as well. Once both processes are completed, both control
lights will go out.
C Cancel
Press this button during use will immediately stop the current vacuuming resp.
sealing process.

D Seal
Button with 2 functions with green indicator light:
1. For manually sealing ilm bags, f.e. when you wish to make a bag from a roll
and therefore need to seal one end of the bag.
2. For stopping the vacuuming process and immediately sealing the bag in Vacuum
& Seal function. Example: If you have selected the Vacuum & Seal function and
notice the pressure getting too high for the foods in the bag during automatic
vacuuming, you can immediately stop the extraction pump and start the sealing
process by pressing the Seal button.
As long as the appliance seals, the green control light lashes. Once the process
is completed, the green control light will go out.
E Food
With this button you can adjust the sealing process to vacuum sealing dry or wet
foods. The green light illuminates when the corresponding function is selected,
the standard setting is Dry.
Dry: Select Dry if you wish to vacuum seal dry foods. Dry is the standard setting
that illuminates once the appliance is plugged in.
Moist: Select Moist if you wish to vacuum seal moist foods like f.e. fresh meat.
The extraction pump will stop before the sealing process starts to ensure that
the seal is dry, despite the moisture. This will also prevent liquid from getting
into the appliance.
In general: Once a chosen function is completed, the corresponding con-
trol light goes out, allowing you to open the appliance cover with the
release buttons by lifting them (not pressing them down).
