With auger clutch lever free play correctly adjusted, pull the clutch
lever all the way back against the handlebar, and measure length
''A'' of the belt tension spring. Spring length ''A'' must be at least 30
mm (1.18 in) to ensure proper belt tension and auger operation.
If spring length ''A'' is less than 30 mm (1.18 in), take the
snowthrower to an authorized Honda snowthrower dealer for belt
adjustment or replacement.
3.
Pull the boot down over the adjusting plate after free play is
correctly adjusted.
