The temperature in the upper section of the cylinder is being monitored. The
monitoring period starts PDIS when the temperature falls below the value TDIS.
If the cylinder temperature rises above the limit temperature TDIS prior to the
expiry of the monitoring period and stays above the limit temperature longer
than period DDIS then a new monitoring period will start. If the monitoring pe-
riod expires, pasteurisation will be carried out with the assistance of the reheat
function. Consequently, pasteurisation will be carried out no later than after 31
days.

With pasteurisation active (OTD) and running monitoring period, CDIS indicates
the remaining time (days:hours) to the end of the monitoring period. When the

countdown CDIS arrives at 0, pump 2 starts for pasteurisation with reheating.

With pasteurisation active (OTD) and running monitoring period, DDIS indicates
the remaining heat-up time (hours:minutes). Pump 2 stops if, during the heat-

up phase DDIS, the cylinder temperature captured by S3 exceeds the limit tem-
perature TDIS by more than 5 K. The pump only starts again when the cylinder
temperature drops below TDIS + 2 K. The heat-up time starts again, if the limit
temperature TDIS is not reached during the heat-up time DDIS. The heat-up
time only ends when the cylinder temperature continuously lies above TDIS.

It cannot be predicted when pasteurisation takes place. If you would like this to
take place at a specific time, you can make an appropriate selection in parame-

ter SDIS. Pasteurisation normally starts when the monitoring period has expi-
red, in other words when the countdown CDIS has reached 0. Parameter SDIS
ensures that this pasteurisation does not start immediately but only following a
delay. In that case pasteurisation starts at the selected time SDIS. The start delay
is disabled if CDIS is set to 00:00.
