The control unit checks the cylinder for the possibility of heating (start

differential). The following cylinder is checked, if the priority cylinder cannot

be heated. If the secondary cylinder can be heated, that is accomplished
via the so-called pendulum heating time (tRUN). Heating ceases when the
pendulum heating time has expired. The controller monitors the rise in collector
temperature. If this rises during the pendulum pause time (tLB) by the collector
rise temperature ('T-Kol 2 K; value permanently programmed in the software),
then the expired pause time is reset to zero, and the pendulum pause time starts
again. The secondary cylinder continues to be heated if the start condition for the
priority cylinder is not reached. The pendulum heating will not continue if the
priority cylinder has reached its maximum temperature.

This function is only active within an adjustable period, starting at TCST and
ending at TCEN. The collector circuit pump runs for the selected runtime (TCRU),
uninterrupted by adjustable idle periods (TCIN). This should compensate for the
delayed temperature capture.

If the selected runtime TCRU exceeds 10 seconds, the pump will operate for

the first ten seconds at 100% speed. For the remaining runtime, the pump will
operate at the selected minimum speed nMN. The tube collector function will
be suppressed or switched off if the collector sensor is faulty or the collector is
blocked.

On two collector systems (east-west orientation, system type 7) the tube collector
function will be implemented separately for both collector arrays. If the cylinder

is heated by collector 1, collector 2 will nevertheless be operated after the selec-
ted idle period has expired.

Parameter TCRU is not available, if option "Drainback" is enabled. In that case,

the runtime of the tube collector function is defined by parameter tFLL and tSTB.

Water hammer can be created if the drainback system is filled with the tube col-

lector function, and the heat transfer medium enters a severely heated collector.
If a non-pressurised drainback system is used, set parameter TCST and TCEN so
that the system is not filled when there is strong insolation.
