1 Introduction

Congratulations for the purchase of this equipment! The Transclinic photovoltaic
DC monitoring system is an advanced, rugged, industrial measurement device that
accumulates five years of Weidmüller's R&D experience in PV string monitoring
solutions. Transclinic units are nowadays installed in megasolar plants of all five
continents. Some of these megasolar plants are above 100 MW in size, some are
located in the hot and dusty deserts of Africa and India, some plants are near the
humid and salty tropical beaches of Southeast Asia, some are in the coldest continental
areas, there's even a plant inside a volcano that still releases hydrogen sulfide into
the atmosphere! We are confident that no matter where your next PV project is, our
Transclinic solution will provide accurate measurements during an extended service
life and our global support team will follow you so that you are not alone.
Before your installer grabs a toolbox and rushes to the PV field to install Transcinics
